Would I get penalized if I took Grade 12 english again in the year (I took it in summer school)

Hey guys, I took Grade 12 english online in the summer and it looks like my mark is going to be an 84. I don’t know if that’s good enough for university. So I wanna take it again in the year. I just wanna know if I would get penalized or if it would affect my applications to university if I took Grade 12 english twice. Thanks

  1. I was just about to ask this! I am finishing grade 12 English this week and I wanted nothing lower than an 85 but that didn’t happen! I don’t want to retake it this school year but i don’t want this low mark to affect my average either :/

  2. No, they don’t care, but it’s pointless to take it again with an 84. If you end up with a lower mark in your second attempt, it’ll be a complete waste of time and effort.

  3. English marks are really unpredictable so it’s better not to risk it. An 84 is great and shouldn’t be much of a problem.
