What courses do I take in UOIT comp sci?

Hi So I got accepted into the UOIT computer science program and I want to become a full stack web developer. What courses should I take first year? Also should I specialize in data science or digital media?

  1. If you’re in comp sci, most first year courses will already be chosen for you. There likely won’t be a whole lot of room for you to take electives in a program like this. Upper year courses will be smaller than the introductory ones, but specialization doesn’t mean much for undergrad. There’s a lot of compulsory courses so there isn’t really much freedom to pick and choose, it’s a rigid schedule.
