UTSC Psychology

Why does UTSC psychology not require any science or math courses, considering its a bachelor of science degree? Also what are chances of admission to it with eng4u= 81, mhf4u=80, mcv4u=92, hnb4m (fashion) = 90, HZT4UO(Philosophy)=100, HSC4UO(World Cultures)= 98. Finally, I’m not really familiar with how Ontario admissions works so sorry if this is a stupid question, but besides the requirements, we can use absolutely any 4U/M course right? Like fashion, which is a 4M course could count right? Or an online 4U/M course?

  1. Actually, adv. func. is a prereq for the program with calc and bio being recommended as well: https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/admissions/programs/psychology You should have no issues getting in considering you’re well above the competitive average. And yeah, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s 4U/M, but certain schools/programs may limit the number of 4M courses you can take as electives.
