Summer Reading Suggestions- Preferably something ‘thought provoking’

Any suggestions for summer reading?

  1. My teacher recommended "The Sound and the Fury
    Novel by William Faulkner" to read over the summer. He said it is quite interesting.

  2. to kill a mockingbird
    we read to kill a mockingbird in grade 10 and it was 'thought provoking'read it if you haven't. you will not regret it

  3. you've gotten some fantastic suggestions so far. i'll add the great gatsby. a novel with not so likeable characters that makes you question what's most important in life and what it means to pursue the "american dream" (whatever you believe that might be).

  4. A Fine Balance by Rohinton MistryOne of the best books I've ever read. It is provoking, emotional and hopeful. You become so invested in the characters because they are so real. Long but it's worth it.
