High School Course Selections

I am currently a grade 11 student going into grade 12 next year. In university I would like to attend a business school. I am currently debating not taking Physics 12 next year since my mark this year was just not high enough to take it again. But im just wondering if not taking a science course looks bad on an application for business?

  1. Just focus on English and calc, dude. Forget about trying to split atoms. You’re going to be learning how to close deals, not perform titrations.

  2. Typically business programs don’t require a science course. Though, it would be wise to look at the specific requirements for the programs you are looking to go into; some universities MAY require a science course of some sort – but it’s unlikely… Just take courses that you excel in and inflate that average as much as you can!
